Supplier invoice automation:
you only review the exceptions.

Invoice automation with Wyre reads every supplier invoice that arrives by email, classifies it and assigns it to its job, project, line item and supplier. Your team only reviews the exceptions.

Where it hurts

Where the admin
time goes.

  1. By hand

Invoices land in the mailbox and someone types them one by one into the ERP or the accounting software.

  2. Job and line item

Each invoice is assigned to its job and line item by someone who knows the project. If that person is away, the invoice waits.

  3. After paying

Wrong amounts, wrong quantities and duplicate invoices are found when the invoice has already been paid.

Where the information comes from

Five sources,
every invoice in its place.

What Wyre does · Email

Reads the supplier invoice inbox. Extracts the PDF and its data: supplier, number, amount and line items.

How it solves it

From the inbox
to the books.

  1. Receives and reads every invoice

Reads the invoices that arrive by email and identifies their job, line item and supplier. Nothing to migrate.

    • Reads every invoice on arrival, in PDF or scanned.
    • Classifies it and identifies its job, project, line item and supplier.
    • Your team stops copying invoices by hand: it only reviews what Wyre cannot read with confidence.
  2. Checks order and delivery note before booking it

Matches invoice, order and delivery note before the invoice is registered or paid.

    • Compares the invoice quantity and price with the order and the delivery note.
    • Flags the difference and its quantity before you register or pay.
    • If the gap affects the budget, budget variance control picks it up.
  3. Classifies and assigns what matches

Invoices that match are registered on their line item without anyone stepping in.

    • Registers on their job and line item the invoices that match order and delivery note.
    • Sets aside those that do not match, have no order or look like duplicates.
    • Your team sees the number of exceptions, not the total of invoices.
  4. Hands you only the exceptions

Alerts Accounts with the reason and a recommendation. Holding a payment or chasing a supplier needs your sign-off.

    • Alerts Accounts only when an invoice does not match.
    • Attaches a recommendation: hold payment of the difference and request a credit note.
    • Never acts without your sign-off: you decide whether it is sent.

What changes

Your invoices, before and after.

  • Read on arrival

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

  • It means every supplier invoice is read, classified and assigned without anyone typing it in. Wyre reads the invoices that arrive by email, assigns them to their job, project, line item and supplier, matches them with the purchase order and delivery note, and leaves only the exceptions for you.

  • It reads the invoice data and relates it to your ERP: supplier, open purchase order, job and line item. If the data does not allow a safe assignment, it does not guess: it leaves the invoice as an exception for your team to review.

  • It flags the invoice as an exception and explains the difference, for example an invoiced quantity the delivery note does not record, before it is registered or paid. If the gap affects the job budget, Wyre's budget variance control picks it up.

  • Only the exceptions: invoices that do not match the order or delivery note, have no order, look like duplicates or cannot be assigned with confidence. The ones that match are registered without your involvement.

  • It only registers routine items, such as an invoice that matches its order and delivery note. Payments, holds and claims to a supplier need your approval, and Wyre records everything.

  • Yes. It reads PDF invoices, scanned ones or those sent as images, from suppliers with different formats. If it cannot read a field with confidence, it flags it for your team to review.

  • No. Wyre works on top of what you already use and can start in read-only mode. If your software has no integration, we build it.
